tonight i had a jazz gig. it's a trio plus mio. we play every sunday night. tonight was really spectacular...certain moments really rang so well. bei bei on drums is truly a gift of a sturdy rhythm, a foundation for the improvised grooves that we bring on. so much emerges from these connections. when the players are on the same wavelength, the bounty of melodies and stories pour.
everyone was drinking it in. alive. feeling the effect of such a nice mesh of soul and flesh. :) pleasure in music, the god song of our energies, this absolutely total resolution to be free, open, wide, loving and sharing. it truly is a beautiful thing.
i wish i had video'd it. for you all. for me, i have this bubbling in my heart. this giggle of musical joy :)
